I restarted work on my crewel bellpull and finished the last two long-and-short stitch petals for this flower. I like its dramatic color scheme.

🙂
Very beautiful. You have a good eye for long and short stitch,it’s just naturally blending with the earlier row of stitches.

Thank you!
Would you be willing to share your color palate? I have the bell pull and like you simply cannot afford to do it in silk.
Yup. I sent it to another commenter last week, so I already have it written up. It’ll be in your email shortly.
I too like the dramatic colour scheme but your lovely LSS is what makes it!
awwwww 🙂
Ditto Coralseas – your long and short stitching is lover-ly. Colors are fab, too!
Thanks
beautiful i love it
glad you like it
Yes, a lovely vibrant colour scheme, and great long and short stitch!
Many thanks.
You ladies are too sweet!
this is stunning, so inspring!
thanks!
This is so lovely, your color palette is perfect, I wonder if it can be done in embroidery floss, rayon threads and DMC cotton perle?
I see no reason you couldn’t use rayon or perle. This one is worked in embroidery floss.
Your embroidery is just beautiful! Your are my inspiration to embroider SOMETHING!! Keep up this great work of art,
go for it!
